Founded on August 24, 1988, the ISCTE-IUL Students’ Union has been fighting in the last 25 years for the interests of the students of the institution it represents.

We are today one of the most important National Associations, representing about 9,000 students. We are recognized for the prestige, renown and ability to promote events in our community and in the struggle of their interests.

With the implementation of the founding regime by the ISCTE-IUL, the AE renewed its image, adopting the blue color and the denomination of Students’ Union of ISCTE-IUL – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (AEISCTE-IUL).
